Vehicle Assembly Role - Automotive OEM Firm (4-10 yrs)
- We have openings in one of our Automotive OEM company for Vehicle assembly role.
Work Location - Pune
Duties :
1. Responsible for achieving shopfloor (assembly) goals in area of PQCDSM. Supervises production employees in operations to ensure that the goals of the department and organization are achieved.
2. Works as the first- line liaison between the production employees and the management staff and thus also serves the function of representing the company's priorities with the shop floor staff.
3. Supervises and leads the execution of departmental plans to achieve objectives in safety, quality, Delivery, efficiency and continuous improvement.
4. Investigates, analyzes and resolves various system, part, people or process issues to correct deficiencies, reduce costs, improve processes/performance.
5. Administers employee policies, practices, procedures and work rules appropriate for the unit.
6. Monitors individual and line performance and takes corrective action including discipline, as needed and responds to complaints to insure the Company and employees adheres to policies, practices, procedures and work rules.
7. Works with Safety Team in meeting company standards and enforces safety regulations to prevent and eliminate injuries.
8. Establishes employee environment regarding communications, feedback and overall guidance. Ensures that assigned personnel have appropriate training, work instruction and tools to successfully do their job.
9. Actively participates in smart connected factory drive to achive goals in areas of ditization, digitalization and automation.

Desired :
- 4-5 years of working in operations either as a supervisor or Mfg Engineer or Quality Engineer
- Knowledge of manufacturing and/or distribution processes, quality, tooling, tool design, total preventative maintenance and facilities.
- Understanding of Clint Production System, Lean Manufacturing, Just-in- Time, Kanban. Working knowledge of the appropriate operating and information systems.
- Knowledge of shop floor manufacturing and/or warehouse and distribution production pay systems
- Knowledge of products, customers, markets.
