Vestas - Hardware/Automation Engineer - Electrical & Software Unit (5-15 yrs)
Test & Tools is globally responsible for developing test equipment for Vestas manufacturing sites. We develop test equipment for all Vestas products. For example, switchboards, converter systems, hydraulic systems, generators etc. We work closely together with our internal costumers and Vestas Technology R&D.
Title : Lead Engineer / Assistant lead engineer / Sr. Engineer - Hardware & Automation - Test & Tools - Electrical & Software Unit
Roles and Responsibility :
- Develop, Specify and design hardware solutions for our test platforms
- Create circuit diagrams and lay out drawings in Caddy++
- Perform the necessary electrical calculations to ensure the correct electrical design
- Create documentation and user manuals according to legislation and internal requirements
- Ensure that the equipment fulfills internal and external legislation, standards and guidelines
- Development of test programs - have an extensive introduction to our programming tool
- Develop and improve guidelines and standards for developing test equipment
- Commissioning and troubleshooting of test equipment at our factories worldwide will be part of the job
- Providing Test support function for the test equipment across Vestas factories
