Functions / Areas Responsibilities Accountability Authority -

- Strategic Planning Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making at the top level (with CTO) so that research and development strategy is aligned with the long-term vision, mission, and objectives of the organisation.

- Develop and maintain technical expertise on advances and innovations in research and science

- Costing Oversee the R&D budget; monitor the cost and effectiveness of R&D activities to optimise resources, prioritise spending, and maintain professional standards.

- To interact & take feedback from marketing team and customers in order to develop products & technologies at optimal cost.

- Evaluate new technologies and advise the organisation on appropriate R&D investments.

- Promoting Innovation Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop professional research staff to ensure the quality, validity, and credibility of the organisation's research activities.

- Development of security measures in order to protect intellectual property and file for patents

- Troubleshooting / Networking "Continuously interact with customers for solving problem and understanding their future needs in order to develop relevant technology & products.

- Netwroking with Japan for technology & knowledge transfer, networking with suppliers, with various certifying agencies for product certifications, also with various other sources like government bodies (DSIR etc.) and academic institutions"

- Safety Monitor and review implementation of Company standards to produce safe products and ensure safety of man & material in development of these products

- People development Ensure talent management & development of the team as per organsiation's requirements
