Vice President - Real Estate Projects (15-25 yrs)
Job Responsibilities :
- Project Execution
- Manage multiple residential / Commercial projects
- Physical delivery of project as per timelines with required Safety and Quality Standards.
- Providing Technical Support in the construction
- Establishing the project, developing solutions to construction challenges
- Mentoring staff in the effective delivery of the project
- To Adopt Best practices being followed in High Rise Construction Technology.
- Study of Technical Drawings and coordination between Engineering Design, Project Team and Clients for Structure, Finishing and MEP works.
- Taking required corrective action when project is behind schedule and implementation of same.
- Co-ordination with Architects/Consultants.
- Guiding Execution Team in High-rise projects with Correct Formwork System, Survey System, and Method of Concrete Pumping.
- Conducting weekly coordination meeting with all sub-contractors (Finishing, MEP and Speciality sub-contractors).
- Attending weekly management meeting with PMC/Owners representative and Consultants.
- Implementation of Global Best Practices in Procurement.
- Implementation of Approved Project Quality Plan & Safety Plan.
- Reviewing Work method Statements and suggesting better practices for Better Productivity of labour/Equipment.
- Vendor Management
- Identify, assess and finalize the vendors
- Define the vendor scope of work and deliverables
- Manage the vendors to deliver as per defined expectations
- Evaluate the vendors and take required actions to address vendor issues
- Cost Analysis
- Undertake open costing for all the BOQ line items to arrive at the right costing to enable the commercial team negotiate better without compromising on the deliverables
- People Management
- Select the right team members
- Set expectations and give regular feedback to team
- Provide adequate support and motivate the team to deliver on the job
- Guide, coach, train and develop the team
