Vice President/Senior Vice President - Plant Operations - Textile Industry (20-25 yrs)
Responsible for manufacturing activities which include production of the existing production of new product lines, meeting production targets, managing work effectively, and improving product quality.
- Executing Units manufacturing strategic plans.
- Well versed with Plant Operations, Strategic Planning, Commercial, Project Management, Vendor Management, Cost Reduction, Man Management, and Quality Control.
- Responsible for supporting R&D & QA for innovation of new product
- Communicate with research and development as well as product management personnel to develop new product strategies.
- Monitor operation expenses and research ways to reduce costs while maintaining product quality.
- Develop and execute the plant manufacturing budgets.
- Analyse workforce requirements.
- Remove production constraints; allocate human and equipment resources and direct production employees to attain all established goals.
- Remove waste and constraints from the production process to improve efficiencies and enhance productivity.
- Work with purchasing manager to develop and improve supplier relationships.
DESIRED PROFILE
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering/Textile Engineering/Mechanical Engineering.
- Preferred qualifications: Masters degree, Six Sigma, Green Belt or Black Belt certification..
- Previous experience/best practices implementing and using continuous improvement/lean tools such as; Six Sigma, 5-S, Lean Manufacturing, Transactional Lean etc.
