Warehouse Manager - Vendor Management (8-15 yrs)
Location : Orissa (Kalinganagar)
Job Profile :
To manage and oversee physical inbound operation and delivering high service levels to ensure that the team delivers results in line with Customers agreed SLA and in accordance with procedures and defined standards
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for Project Management, Vendor Management, MIS & Billing Inputs and Day to Day operations.
- Coordination with buyer and LSPs for appropriate decisions to meet business requirements.
- Ensure operational issues are registered and resolved or escalated to next level within time frame and most efficient possible manner.
- Ensure accurate planning and end to end managements of all inbound shipments.
- Ensure that the SOPs are being followed and adhered to by LSP/ and team members
- Develop a high performance service culture within the functional department. Plan, organize and direct and efficient and effective functional department.
- Manage the allocation of appropriate resources and commitment of staff to the achievement of projects objectives and targets.
- Transportation and routing of vehicles, Vehicle placement as per pick plan and tracking till delivery.
- Operation managed as per project operating module and within budget to derive foretasted savings
- Responsible for Safely and Quality Assurance
Desired Skills:
- Communication skills (English/Local Language), spoken and written
- Leadership skills
- PAN India Transportation knowledge is a must
- Good Documentation skills - Document Screening, Archiving and retrieval
- Good People management Skills
