Water Treatment Processes Professional - Thermal Power Plant (3-7 yrs)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Balance of Plant (BOP) - Water Treatment Plant professional to oversee and manage the water treatment processes in Thermal Power Plants (TPPs). The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance, regulatory compliance, and environmental sustainability of various water treatment systems, including Water Treatment Plant (WTP), De-Mineralization (DM) Plant, Effluent Plant (EP), and Sewage Treatment Plant (STP).
Role & responsibilities:
1. Water Treatment Operations:
Oversee and manage the Pre-Treatment (PT), Reverse Osmosis (RO), Desalination, and De-Mineralisation (DM) processes to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
- To maintain environmental compliance, monitor and control cooling water (CW) chlorination, chemical and acid (HSO) dosing, and effluent treatment.
2. Process Optimisation & Troubleshooting:
- Analyse and improve water treatment processes to maximise efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to water treatment plant operations.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems and troubleshoot challenges.
3. Regulatory Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and industry water treatment and environmental protection regulations.
- Maintain safety protocols and environmental guidelines in power plant operations.
- Keep detailed records of water quality parameters, chemical usage, and compliance reports.
4. Team Coordination & Training:
- Work closely with plant operators, engineers, and management to align water treatment strategies with overall plant operations.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff on best practices in water treatment and regulatory compliance.
