Essential:
- Must have minimum experience of 20 years as over-all project in-charge of a major power/energy project.
- Understanding and monitoring of land acquisition processes (Private, Revenue, Forest)
- Liasioning (nodal agencies, ministry, local authorities & SEBs)
- Sub Station, Transmission, ROW
- He should have been team leader responsible for all aspects of the project, i.e. tendering, pre-award negotiations, day-to-day planning and control on execution, dealing with the client, invoicing and collection of payment, meeting all labour and statutory requirements, cost control, commissioning of project, final billing and closure of the site.
- Interaction with cross functional departments
Roles & Responsibilities:
Regional Planning:
- Manage regional level growth targets on land acquisition
- Approvals for ministry, regulatory and enforcement bodies
- PPA, Sub-station, transmission & ROW
- Manage cost-effective allocation of resources across regional project sites
- Act as crucial link between the project managers and the CGM, to secure management intervention to alleviate any bottlenecks
Policy & Regulatory Readiness:
- Ensure regional compliance against policy and regulatory requirement as defined by HQ
- Envisage & interpret likely policy changes and their impact on business plans.
Project Monitoring & Control:
- Track timely execution and delivery of projects in the region and act as first point contact for project related issues and risks
- Ensure seamless integration of Land Acquisition and project execution activities within a site
- Collections/Cash Flow receipts against billing milestones
- Support project managers by facilitating frequent dialogue between the project managers & regional stakeholders

- Land Bank Development
- Policy & Regulatory Data Bank
- On-time collections based on billing milestones
- Resource utilization (staff & expertise)
- Project Profitability (%)
- Administrative support for timely project completion
