Wiring Harness - Electric Vehicle Startup (2-5 yrs)

The first product is an electric two-wheeler that will improve the day-to-day lives of people.
Key Responsibilities :
- You will be responsible for design and development of automotive wiring harness from concept to production by working in close coordination with vehicle integrators.
- You will undertake benchmarking, cost reduction, DFMEA, DFA, DFS, DFT, troubleshooting EMI/EMC issues and prepare necessary documentation supporting wiring harness design and product development life-cycle.
- This role includes 3D wiring harness layout creations, routing for low voltage and high voltage cables, clamping bracket/panel design for the LV and HV cables at suitable locations, packaging of LV and HV Enclosures, creating and testing bench-top and vehicle mock-ups.
- You will also provide support for making prototype vehicles, pre-production & serial production vehicles.
Ideal Candidate :
- You must have 2-5 years of experience in automotive wiring harness design, development and exposure to software such as SolidWorks Electrical, Zuken E3, Mentor Graphics Vesys, Vector PREEvision, CATIA V5.
-You should have technical and hands-on expertise in wiring harness design, connectors sizing and component selection, electrification, DMU, packaging related engineering requirements, wiring harness manufacturing and bench-top mock-up in addition to knowledge of design aspects for automotive wiring harness, GD&T analysis of assembly.
- CAD software hands-on experience in Solidworks, Solidworks Electrical is preferable along with an understanding of product development process & project timelines.
- Knowledge of the regulatory / certification requirements like CMVR, AIS, and ECE etc. will be an advantage.
