Wiring Harness Engineer (3-7 yrs)
Position : Cabling / Wiring Harness Engineer
Exp : 3 to 7 years
Location : Ahmadabad
Industry : Automobile or Electric Vehicle
Education : Diploma / B Tech in Electrical - Electronics & Communication Engg. / Mechatronics
Job Responsibilities
1. Cable routing by working with cross functional engineers like mechanical, hardware, manufacturing etc using Autocad / Creo cable routing module
2. Prepare and participate in design reviews
3. Support manufacturing by documenting and releasing engineering drawings & bill of material using engineering change management.
4. Provide resolution to design and documentation quality issues, problem reports, supplier build issues.
5. System level layout and integration on vehicle and testing of R&D proto battery packs.
Skills Required :
1. 3-4 years of hands on experience on wiring harness layout.
2. Proficient in #CREO wiring harness design.
3. Well versed in making single line diagrams, manufacturing 2d drawing, #BOM and handling #ECN processes.
4. Working knowledge in #OEM components (connectors, fuse, relays, thimble, thermistor etc). Awareness on HV creepage and clearance constraint.
5. Should have knowledge about various types of cables, bending radius, cable schedule preparation, routing and termination mechanism.
6. Knowledge of ERP software & multi level BOM.
7. Hands on experience in various types of lithium ion battery like Electrical vehicle, Telecom, ESS etc
8. Should have understating of various testing and validation standards like AIS 048, UN38.3, ISO 16750 etc.
