Our client is the largest industrial paint and second largest decorative paint company of India. It is engaged in the industrial, automotive and powder coating business.

JOB PROFILE:

To coordinate among various functions & ensure that plant performance parameters are achieved on consistent basis.

To ensure all activities in the plant are carried out as per the policies & practices prescribed by the company and compliance with relevant laws of the land and corporate governance in the matters under this position.

To ensure safety of plants, personnel and environment through the proper implementation of EHS management systems.

To improve the culture in plant in areas of Quality, EHS, delivery, Cost and Productivity using Six Sigma methodology.

To arrange for up-gradation of equipments and machinery at plants after obtaining requisite capital expense approvals.

To manage value adding partnership with third party manufacturers for cost/ supply efficiencies in coordination with GM-Mfg & to provide technical and managerial guidance to such third party vendors.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Years of experience: 12 - 18 years.

Qualification:Degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Production Engineering or Paint Technology with Post Graduation in operations management/ Engineering.

Must have 10 Years in large scale / medium scale Paint or Chemical process Industry with minimum 5 years at managerial level.

The candidate should have had robust exposure and deep understanding of processes of production of paints.

Experience of managing multiple unions and experience of settlement with a union would be an added advantage.

Consistent track record of managing matrices such as productivity improvement, production growth, cost reduction, improvement in quality and processes through six sigma, TPM and 5 S projects.

Demonstrated track record of successfully managing P&L of a production facility.

Clean history of maintaining high safety standards and compliance.
