Workshop Head - Assembly Shop - Steel Sector (15-20 yrs)
We have an urgent requirement for the position of "Workshop Head-Assembly shop" required by a well reputed steel sector multi-national EPC company from Germany. The company has their office at three locations in India incl. Gurugram, Kolkata & Pune. The JD is as under:
A. GENERAL :
- Overall Planning, Execution & controlling of activities, cost, Quality Improvement and safety for refurbishment & new assemblies.
B. Pre-Order Activity :
- To check the feasibility of repair or assembly of new products.
- Estimation of Level 1 repair.
- Coordination with cross-functional department for level-2 repair and final offering to Sales.
- Coordination with technical experts / designer / SMS Germany.
- Coordination with Sales and Customer.
- Visit to customer sites for extending technical support / discussion.
C. Order Execution :
- Refurbishment, Modification & new assembly of Hydraulic cylinder, Cold Mandrels.
- Refurbishment, Modification & new assembly of Hotmandrel, Spindles.
- Refurbishment, Modification & new assembly of Segments, Water Jacket, Mould, piping.
- Job activity and resource planning along with daily logging on for records.
- Dismantling, Inspection, material Issue, material movement, assembly and testing of equipment.
- Preparation of Activity schedule, Reports, Spares requirements for assembly and final submission to customer.
- Maintain safety standard and housekeeping (6S) at shop floor.
- Coordination with technical experts / designer / SMS Germany
PROFILE :
- B Tech Mechanical, 15- 20 Years
- Maintenance & Refurbishment experience in steel plant.
- Experience in Rolling Mills, HSM & Caster is desirable.
- Strong verbal & written communication skill.
- Ability to work independently.
- Should be self-propelled & Team Player.
- Should believe in Walk The Walk.
