As a part of Aeon Life, one would work with interdisciplinary teams to tackle complex problems on a daily basis, be a part of planning and presentation exercises, and learn how to execute R&D in a whole new different way.
- Minimum Education Criteria - Bachelors in the field of Physics/Electronics/Electrical or Equivalent from premium engineering institutes, CGPA 7+
- Minimum Work Experience/Further Education - A PhD in Optics related field or 3+ years of work experience in the field of Optical Design and Assembly
Job Role Description :
- Optical System Development - Develop and deliver optical assemblies for various imaging and photometric biosensor projects (production ready) and in-house development of image processing based systems for R&D and Production with their BOM, Assembly
- Instructions, Quality parameters and Test protocols
- Interdisciplinary Project Development - Brainstorm and develop solutions with biochemistry and image processing experts for defining and tuning optical design parameters in order to achieve better image design parameters in order to achieve better image feature quality to aid in detection.
- Knowledge Base Development - Develop in-house knowledge modules, concepts and lead development for tackling emerging challenges in medical diagnostics via Optical methods and documentation of all projects undertaken
Domain Experience :
- Optical Design - Defining specifications, selection of right components and their properties, theoretical grasp over assembly and optical system design on Zemax or equivalent software.
- Assembly and Manufacturing - Vendor Discovery, Negotiation, Development of Assembly and Manufacturing proprietary systems, Procurement, Commercial optical assembly protocols, Mass Manufacturing methods knowledge.
- Imaging Fundamentals - Strong theoretical grasp over optical properties of a system and their interaction with image quality parameters
- Hands on Experience - Worked with different optical components - fibers, lenses, doublets, splitters, filters, illumination systems etc.
- Software - Zemax, TracePro, Matlab, AutoCAD, SolidWork or Equivalent
