Summary :
We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized procurement officer to oversee purchases and develop new contracts. In this position, you will play a key role in procuring high-quality and cost-efficient supplies for our organization. You will follow procurement procedures, maintain an updated list of inventory and incoming purchases and supplies, and be responsible for approving purchases.
Job Description :
- Develop and implement a robust procurement process
- Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
- Build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
- Discovering profitable suppliers, Initiate procurement partnerships, Negotiating with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
- Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services thru the release of purchase orders
- Responsible for all daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on Purchase Orders delivery and shipment schedules
Requirements :
- Proven working experience in an established procurement function, overall experience of around 5 years in procurement function
- Good knowledge of procurement process, techniques, negotiations and networking
- Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
- Strong leadership capabilities
- Graduate, any discipline
