We are hiring for the role, YARD HEAD, for a leading Indian multinational company in India.

Ideal Candidate:

The experienced Yard Head professional with 20-30 years of experience from EPC or oil & gas industry will be responsible for the overall management and operations of the yard, ensuring efficient utilization of resources, adherence to safety standards, and timely execution of project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement yard strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.

- Resource Management: Oversee the effective utilization of yard resources including manpower, equipment, and materials.

- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records, optimize stock levels, and minimize wastage.

- Safety Management: Establish and enforce stringent safety protocols, conduct regular safety audits, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

- Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure that all materials and equipment meet project specifications.

- Logistics Management: Coordinate with transportation and logistics teams for efficient movement of materials and equipment.

- Team Management: Lead and develop a high-performing yard team, providing necessary training and development opportunities.

- Cost Control: Monitor yard expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize resource allocation.

- Project Coordination: Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

- Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent

- 20-30 years of experience in yard management, preferably in the EPC, petrochemical, or oil & gas industry

- Proven track record in managing large-scale projects

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

- Excellent organizational and planning abilities

- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and procedures

- Proficiency in inventory management and logistics

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
