Position Overview : We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Associate Project Engineer to join our team at IIT Guwahati. The role involves active participation in the research and development of innovative building materials. As an Associate Project Engineer, you will contribute to our ongoing projects aimed at advancing construction technology and sustainability. This is a temporary position with a minimum duration of 6 months.

Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with the project team to conduct research and development activities focused on new building materials.

- Participate in designing and executing experiments, simulations, and testing methodologies to evaluate the properties and performance of materials.

- Analyze and interpret data from experiments, identifying trends, correlations, and potential areas for improvement.

- Contribute to the development of prototypes and scaled models to validate the feasibility and effectiveness of new materials.

- Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements related to construction materials.

- Assist in preparing technical reports, documentation, and presentations summarizing research findings and project progress.

- Work closely with senior engineers, researchers, and cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and deliverables.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree (B.Tech) in Civil Engineering or related field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.

- Master's degree (M.Tech) in Civil Engineering with a specialization in construction materials is preferred.

- Freshers with an M.Tech degree and a strong academic background in relevant areas will also be considered.

- Sound knowledge of materials science, construction technology, and experimental methodologies.

- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software commonly used in engineering research.
