Zonal Head - Purchase/Procurement - Building Materials (7-15 yrs)
Zonal Purchase/Procurement Head :
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Strategic and economic procurement of Cement & raw Materials for RMC Plant.
- Identifying and developing a network of suppliers for Building materials/ Cement/Construction Industry especially in cement, sand, aggregates, construction chemicals etc.
- Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines etc.
- Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.
- Order all Raw Materials and ensure each requisite raw material is available for production
- Responsible for the procurement of goods and services for the company
- Price negotiations with suppliers.
- Sources out potential suppliers and includes qualified suppliers in the approved suppliers list.
- Evaluate supplier performance.
- Reviews purchase requisitions and approves purchase orders.
- Coordinates with other departments regarding procurement requirements.
- Responsible for inventory management & control.
- Prepare annual procurement plan.
Preferred Qualification :
- University qualifications: University Graduate
- Previous experience: 7 years- experience in procurement of Raw Materials
- Other Skills: Good communication skills, excellent negotiation skills,
- SAP or any other ERP
