Zonal Manager - Logistics Operations - SAARC Countries (4-10 yrs)
The Company is a leading Industry in Logistics Sector & is looking for the position of Zonal Manager (Operations) - SAARC - South based out of Chennai.
Base Location : Chennai
Region Handling : South India
Exp Required : 4 to 10 Years
Roles and Responsibility.
1. Managing existing vendor. Development of new vendor thereby increasing the vendor base.
2. Establishing a very strong network infra for transportation in there region catering to both Express distribution and Full truck Load for SAARC Countries.
3. Timely Arranging the Fleets from Market as per Organization Requirement.
4. Designing Vendors Management SOP.
5. Engaging into contractual agreement with vendors.
6. Establishing of warehousing infrastructure in the form of both Nodal hubs and satellite offices in respective zone's
7. As per Sical Standard Booking process would work upon bonding new channel partners for enabling Pickups.
8. Supporting the team in client interaction thereby leading towards conversion of prospective customer for New Business.
9. Meeting and maintaining the service quality level for the existing customer base.
10. Managing the P/L in efficient way by bringing in cost effective measures.
11. Ensuring of timely payments for vendors thereby creating a healthy relationship.
